What is Clearwater® pH Minus for?
ClearWater pH Minus is the best way to decrease a hot tub or pool's pH levels if they are higher than 7.6. The pH decreaser is also used to bring down Total Alkalinity levels.
Incorrect pH and Total Alkalinity levels can impact the water quality and the experience for the user and results in chlorine imbalances. The recommended pH balance is between 7.2 and 7.6. When pH levels rise above 7.6 in a pool or hot tub, a pH reducer is needed.
How does pH minus work?
ClearWater pH Minus contains chemical acid that neutralises some alkaline compounds and lowers pH, preventing scale, cloudiness, discomfort and poor chlorine performance.
Clearwater pH Minus - Quick Start Guide:
Step 1: Test water. If pH levels or Total Alkalinity are too high, use pH Minus
Step 2: Measure the quantity you need (refer to the label). 1g of pH minus per 100L of water to lower pH by 0.1
Step 3: Dissolve pH granules in a container of warm water. Pour dissolved mixture into the pool or hot tub.
Step 4: Run the filter and leave for 4hrs. Retest and repeat if needed.
As with all chemical products, time should be taken carefully read through instructions and warnings before using.
