What is Clearwater® pH Plus for?

ClearWater pH Plus is the best way to increase a pool or hot tub's pH levels if it falls lower than 7.3.

Incorrect pH and Total Alkalinity levels can impact the water quality and the experience for the user and results in chlorine imbalances.

The recommended pH balance is between 7.2 and 7.6. When pH levels drop below 7.2 acidity increases and pH increaser is needed.

How does Clearwater pH work?

ClearWater pH Plus is a chemical component that introduces alkaline substances into the water, neutralising acidic components and raising the pH.

Clearwater pH Plus - Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Test water. If pH levels are lower than 7.2, use pH Plus

Step 2: Measure the quantity you need (refer to the label). 1g of pH minus per 100L of water to lower pH by 0.1

Step 3: Dissolve pH granules in a container of warm water. Pour dissolved mixture into the pool or hot tub.

Step 4: Run the filter and leave for 4hrs. Retest and repeat if needed.

As with all chemical products, time should be taken carefully read through instructions and warnings before using.

How do I use Clearwater® pH Plus in my pool or hot tub?

‑ Test your water using the Clearwater® Dip Test Strips
‑ Measure the quantity of pH Plus you need
‑ Dissolve the pH increaser granules in a jug of warm water
‑ Pour the dissolved pH Plus granules directly into the water
‑ Leave for 4 hours and re‑test the water
‑ The ideal pH level is between 7.2 and 7.6

How much Clearwater® pH Plus do I need in my pool or hot tub?

The amount of pH increaser you need to add to your hot tub or pool depends on how low your levels are and on the volume of water. Check the dosage rates on the back of the bottle and measure accordingly.

Top tip: a level teaspoon equals approximately 5g of pH Plus
