Product Details

Clearwater®Test Strips are the quick and easy way to check chemical levels in any hot tub.

The Clearwater® Dip Tests are manufactured by the founders of dip testing in the USA and are the most accurate available on the market so you know you're getting an accurate reading every single time.

How do I use the Clearwater® Dip Test Strips?
  1. Carefully remove one test strip from the container making sure none of the others get wet
  2. Dip the test strip into the water for a couple seconds, then remove it
  3. Hold the test strip level for 15 seconds and do not shake it
  4. Place the test strip against the colour scale on the container to compare levels

Balanced hot tub chemicals should look like this:
  • Chlorine 3 - 5 ppm
  • Bromine 6 - 10 ppm
  • pH 7.2 - 7.6
  • Total Alkalinity 80 - 120 ppm
Balanced pool chemicals should look like this:
  • Chlorine 1 - 3 ppm
  • Bromine 2 - 6 ppm
  • pH 7.2 - 7.6
  • Total Alkalinity 80 - 120 ppm

Using the hot tub test strips to measure chlorine, alkalinity and pH and check water balance enables you to identify any changes needed before using the hot tub.

Untested hot tub water can result in chemical imbalances, loss of water quality, bacteria, discomfort and even damage to the hot tub.
