Round Thermal Hot Tub Cover - Large 196cm x 71cm

Up To 40% More Energy Efficient

Our insulating hot tub cover offers a double layer of cotton thermal insulation, making your inflatable hot tub up to 40 percent more energy efficient. The Lay-Z-Spa thermal cover improves heat retention and allows you to heat the water much quicker

Water Repellent and UV Resistant

The Lay Z Spa thermal hot tub covers are made from ultra strong 3 ply UV resistant and completely water repellent Duraplus™ material, the same as our hot tubs. To be used only when the hot tub is fully set up with water and the inflatable lid and cover are in place.

Durable Construction

The double stitched seams make them stronger and more impermeable. They reduce hot tub heat loss with a thick layer of insulating cotton.

Universal Fit

Compatible with all round inflatable hot tubs up to 196cm in diameter, the hot tub thermal cover is easy to put on and take off. Featuring safety lock clips and adjustable straps, you can secure your cover to keep it in place in all weather conditions and provides a snug fit, essential for heat retention

Safety Features

It has safety lock clips on an adjustable strap for a tightly secured fit meaning it won’t budge, even in windy conditions, and provides a snug fit essential for heat retention.

Save on Energy Bills

The Lay Z Spa Thermal Hot Tub Cover will help you save money on energy costs by improving the heat retention of your hot tub. It is the must have insulating accessory to reduce your hot tub running costs and keep enjoying your Lay Z Spa all year round.

FAQs

Is the thermal cover waterproof?

Yes, and more than just waterproof. The Lay Z Spa Thermal Hot Tub Cover is completely water-repellent. The outside of the thermal cover is Tritech®, which is the same material as our hot tubs

Is the thermal cover durable?

The Lay Z Spa Thermal Hot Tub Cover will not deteriorate, crack or flake over time. It is made with Tritech®, the same ultra strong UV resistant and water-repellent material as our hot tubs. It has double stitched and glued seams making it stronger and more impermeable. Inside is a thick layer of insulating cotton and an anti-mildew-treated interior.

How does the thermal cover make my hot tub more energy-efficient?

The Lay-Z-Spa hot tub thermal cover helps lower energy costs by significantly improving heat retention of your hot tub and helps to heat up the water faster too.

Can I use the thermal cover without the inflatable lid?

We would strongly recommend not using the thermal cover without the inflatable lid and top cover. It won't offer the same level of heat retention and won't give you the maximum energy efficiency. Also, if the underside of the thermal cover touches the water, it is likely to absorb into the material.

Can I use my hot tub with a thermal cover on?

As the Lay Z Spa thermal hot tub cover fits tightly around the top and sides of your hot tub, you will need to remove it when you want to use your hot tub.

Do the thermal covers come with a guarantee?

Yes. We offer a 12 month retailer guarantee with every thermal cover purchased at lay z spa.co.uk the longest guarantee on any thermal cover.Do the thermal covers come with a guarantee?

Doesn't really work very well

Rating: 1 out of 5

I bought this recently and it doesn't really keep water warm. .. Had to buy different product from Lay z Spa which works much better. I'd prefer to get a refund.

Worth every penny

Rating: 5 out of 5

Worth every penny. We have the Toronto foam spa, which to be fair, is more energy efficient, but the lid is the same as the inflatables, so can still lose a lot of heat. The thermal cover is fantastic for 2 reasons. 1. We had the power off for a week and the temperature when turning back on was 26 degrees - only 10 degrees lost in a week. 2. Any rain collects on the thermal cover, keeping the actual lid dry. I cant tell you how many times I've tipped rain water into the spa trying to get the lid off! No more!! Its nice and thick and hard wearing. The pictures make it look like there is a space in the cover for the separate power units, but if you have a built in one like mine, the cover has a zip in bit so you dont have a gap.

HOT TUB Insulation Cover

Very well made OEM product. Much better than aftermarket products from other outlets. Make the retention of heat much better than a tub without the cover.

Well made cover

It's a well made cover. Waterproof ( so many cheaper ones are not) it seems to hold the temperature of the spa overnight ( but not so much in October!☺️)

Great improvement to the heat storage

very impressed with the quality of the cover and the thermal qualities

It works

Definitely reduces heat loss, electricity consumption has fallen since fitting, not sure it's as much as 40% as claimed but anything is welcome!

Extra protection

I bought this a few weeks ago for my Paris lay-z-spa. It’s an excellent fit and provides good coverage. To date it appears to be helping to maintain a steady temperature for longer and it takes less time to heat up. It’s not very cold at the moment so I’ll reserve judgement about how effective it is once the weather gets colder. I also bought it to protect the spa from falling branches and leaves. It seems fairly robust so I’m quite hopeful that it will do the job !

Great purchase

The cover arrived very quickly and seems to be reducing heat loss judging by the reduction in my energy bill. It appears to be good quality and is easy to put on and take off, which is more important than I'd anticipated.

Great quality!

This cover screams quality as soon as you get it out of the box, hot tub heats quicker with the cover on plus the electricity saving should pay for itself over time.

Well worth the investment

Definitely reduces heat loss so over time this will more than pay for itself. Great service also 🙏👍

Good quality hot tub cover

Good quality thermal hot tub cover. Previously bought a cheaper version which was ok at 1st but became brittle and ripped after a year. This product is more expensive than other covers available but is far superior in quality. Would buy again ( but hopefully won’t need to ! )

Thermal cover

Great cover; it really helps keep the heat in. Nice cover, easy to fit.

Fantastic cover for the Toronto ultrafit. Helps to keep the temperature from falling quickly.

Such a difference

This thermal cover is worth every penny, fits perfectly on our lazy spa. Really well made material, but yet light enough to take off and put back on myself. This truly helps to retain heat and I can currently have the heater off for two days at a time, then just pop back on when I want to use my tub. Will loose roughly 3 degrees in heat in two days when not in use.

Good insulator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great addition, easy to put on and take off. Keeps the hot tub more insulated over night on cold days and also protects from stuff falling on the cover.
