Doesn't really work very well
Rating: 1 out of 5
I bought this recently and it doesn't really keep water warm. .. Had to buy different product from Lay z Spa which works much better.
I'd prefer to get a refund.

Great first time tub for two
Rating: 5 out of 5
First time buyer for a hot tub and decided on a miami airjet as there is only me. I found it to be easy to assemble even though the instructions weren't the best (printed on one of the flaps on the box) once up it was larger than I expected. I also bought a thermal cover and a cosy spa mat to help keep costs down. The tub has a 7 metre electric cable with a rcd on it, however if your electric trips you will need to reset this as it doesn't restart like all your other electrical items in the house. The filter runs 24/7 and I have heated up to 34 which I find comfortable. The control panel is easy to use and once up to temperature the light is green, where as the filter is constantly red to show it's running. Once filled with water and the treatments are done and everything is balanced it was time to get in. Although you are sitting on the floor it's not uncomfortable, I am nearly 6ft and can have my feet one side and me head on the other resting on the side. The filter runs quietly in the background and the bubbles run quite loud, easy to forget and speak loud so everyone in the neighborhood can hear you lol. As this tub isn't an energy sense one I got a thermal cover and so far this has kept the temperature at my desired temperature but it is summer and we have been lucky with the warmth. I invited two friends to join me and we had enough room, I think four adults will be less comfortable. All in all a great tub for a first timer or for one person

Big reduction in operating costs
Rating: 5 out of 5
We bought the insulated hot tub cover with the tub itself. It is very efficient, with outside temp about 8 Deg C, and the hot tub heater off, the water temp only dropped about 5 degrees overnight. The cover makes sense environmentally and financially.

The cover arrived very quickly and seems to be reducing heat loss judging by the reduction in my energy bill. It appears to be good quality and is easy to put on and take off, which is more important than I'd anticipated.

Impressed with this this original Lay Z Spa thermal cover, it fits our Mami hot tub perfectly, it has multiple layers and offers great thermal protection keeping the hot tub warm and significantly reducing heat lost from both the top and sides.
It fits over top of the existing cover and also covers all of the sides of the Hot tub, it is a quite big and thick cover but is actually a lot easier to take off and put back than I expected.
It does not cover the Heating pod, but does have a click together strap that can be used to secure the cover if needed.

Excellent decision to buy this!

Really thick cover. Goes over the top of the lazy spa cover to reduce the electricity bill and it works! Also we have two dogs and it prevents their paws puncturing the lazy spa when we’re not in the garden watching them.

So far, so good!
Rating: 5 out of 5
We've been tracking our electricity usage since we set our tub up for the season and were concerned that our daily electricity use almost tripled to maintain the temperature around 20 degrees, so that we could set it to warm up on mornings when we planned evening use. Reviews for the thermal cover looked good, so we decided to trust that it would probably pay for itself over time. So far, the cover has dropped our electricity usage for the hot tub from an average of 25kwhs a day to 10kwhs and I'm hoping it will save us even more when the weather warms up and the pump doesn't have to do as much work. The cover is pretty thick and feels sturdy, slips on easily and the clip below the pump connectors keeps it snugly in place. Really happy with it so far and I'm sure we'll be even happier when the electricity bill comes due!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for our Zurich hot tub. Fits perfectly so is a great addition to the regular cover that comes with the hot tub. We're impressed with how much this helps in keeping the heat, especially with the freezing temperatures and snow we've just had. Easy to lift on and off. Highly recommend.

Excellent effective thermal cover. Easy to use.
Rating: 5 out of 5
This thermal cover is astonishingly effective. I measured the temperature of my paving slabs in recent cold weather and the top of the cover and there was very little difference. The floor was 1°c and so was the cover while the water was 37°c .
I resisted buying the cover as I thought it would a pain to take on and off and we use the tub daily. It's easier to use than trying to do the clips on the normal cover. As the clips are too hard for our aged arthritic hands (excellent child safety) I've had to struggle with closing it fully when I'm expecting stormy weather, and also had to empty water out of the tub after heavy rain. With this thermal cover I no longer need to do that.
Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has really made a difference. It takes less time to warm up as it now keeps the heat in and the cold out.im glad I investigated in a thermal cover. It so easy to slip over the lazy spa, one person can manage it.
