Round Thermal Hot Tub Cover - X Large 216cm x 80cm

Up To 40% More Energy Efficient

Our insulating hot tub cover offers a double layer of cotton thermal insulation, making your inflatable hot tub up to 40 percent more energy efficient. The Lay-Z-Spa thermal cover improves heat retention and allows you to heat the water much quicker

Water Repellent and UV Resistant

The Lay Z Spa thermal hot tub covers are made from ultra strong 3 ply UV resistant and completely water repellent Duraplus™ material, the same as our hot tubs. To be used only when the hot tub is fully set up with water and the inflatable lid and cover are in place.

Durable Construction

The double stitched seams make them stronger and more impermeable. They reduce hot tub heat loss with a thick layer of insulating cotton.

Universal Fit

Compatible with all round inflatable hot tubs up to 216cm in diameter, the hot tub thermal cover is easy to put on and take off. Featuring safety lock clips and adjustable straps, you can secure your cover to keep it in place in all weather conditions and provides a snug fit, essential for heat retention

Safety Features

It has safety lock clips on an adjustable strap for a tightly secured fit meaning it won’t budge, even in windy conditions, and provides a snug fit essential for heat retention.

Save on Energy Bills

The Lay Z Spa Thermal Hot Tub Cover will help you save money on energy costs by improving the heat retention of your hot tub. It is the must have insulating accessory to reduce your hot tub running costs and keep enjoying your Lay Z Spa all year round.

FAQs

Is the thermal cover waterproof?

Yes, and more than just waterproof. The Lay Z Spa Thermal Hot Tub Cover is completely water-repellent. The outside of the thermal cover is Tritech®, which is the same material as our hot tubs

Is the thermal cover durable?

The Lay Z Spa Thermal Hot Tub Cover will not deteriorate, crack or flake over time. It is made with Tritech®, the same ultra strong UV resistant and water-repellent material as our hot tubs. It has double stitched and glued seams making it stronger and more impermeable. Inside is a thick layer of insulating cotton and an anti-mildew-treated interior.

How does the thermal cover make my hot tub more energy-efficient?

The Lay-Z-Spa hot tub thermal cover helps lower energy costs by significantly improving heat retention of your hot tub and helps to heat up the water faster too.

Can I use the thermal cover without the inflatable lid?

We would strongly recommend not using the thermal cover without the inflatable lid and top cover. It won't offer the same level of heat retention and won't give you the maximum energy efficiency. Also, if the underside of the thermal cover touches the water, it is likely to absorb into the material.

Can I use my hot tub with a thermal cover on?

As the Lay Z Spa thermal hot tub cover fits tightly around the top and sides of your hot tub, you will need to remove it when you want to use your hot tub.

Do the thermal covers come with a guarantee?

Yes. We offer a 12 month retailer guarantee with every thermal cover purchased at lay z spa.co.uk the longest guarantee on any thermal cover.Do the thermal covers come with a guarantee?

Doesn't really work very well

Rating: 1 out of 5

I bought this recently and it doesn't really keep water warm. .. Had to buy different product from Lay z Spa which works much better. I'd prefer to get a refund.

Great item better than expected

Rating: 5 out of 5

I was very impressed with the thermal quality of this item. I turned off the heater overnight and lost only 2 degrees of temperature. The item fits perfectly and was compatible with my hottub. The cover is durable and I expect it to last years. Well worth the cost.

Seems very robust

Bought this to replace a different thermal cover that had sen better days and must say, I am impressed with the durability of the cover. It has what appears to be a very robust plastic outer but time will determine how it wears. Very pleased so far and much easier to remove and put back on from the other cover I had.

Thermal cover

We had a material type thermal cover which over time begins to perish- this new one is amazing, sturdy, well made, great fit on our Santorini hot tub, keeps the heat in much better - good price too!

THERMAL COVER AN ADDED BONUS

Even though our Hot Tub is under cover ,the thermal cover has made a big difference, so far it has only dropped to 33 degrees overnight ( I know it will probably drop more when it`s colder), but it heats up quicker with the Thermal Cover on aswell.

Yes.. This cover has certainly made a difference to how many times the heater cycles on and off. Too early yet to give energy saving figures but based upon observations then these covers are a must.

Great purchase

The cover arrived very quickly and seems to be reducing heat loss judging by the reduction in my energy bill. It appears to be good quality and is easy to put on and take off, which is more important than I'd anticipated.

Excellent thermal cover

Excellent thermal cover, exceeded my expectations. Before this cover, we have a Santorini lazy spa on lazy spa matting with the standard cover it comes with. The temperature was dropping drastically before we put the thermal cover on, it was a game changer! My electricity usage has gone down significantly and it only drops by 1-2 degrees overnight when I turn the heater off. We do not use the hot tub in the winter months, it will be stored away, but I am very happy indeed with how much of a difference this thermal cover has made.

Awesome hot tub cover

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This our second Lay-Z-Spa hot tub. Previously the spa has dramatically cooled when not being heated and it took a while to warm up. It now holds its heat very well and the time taken to heat up has also been reduced.

Definitely worth the investment!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several lazy spas over the years, and always considered purchasing the thermal cover but never did. Now with energy costs as high as they are I thought I’d try it. It’s definitely worth the investment. Easy to use and has had a measurable impact on reducing energy costs.
