The pinkish staining appears to be a bacterial growth which has caused the staining, the magenta (pinkish) colour is normally associated with a bacterial micro-organism. The stains are extremely hard to remove, but are prevented by regular cleaning and drying particularly in areas such as stitching and seams.

These types of micro-organisms often present in areas of high humidity, rain can deposit these micro-organisms on to your cover and liner. Whilst the Vinyl is treated to resist the growth of various bacteria’s and micro-organisms (meaning the vinyl is not a food source), with this particular organism they find vinyl suitable as a host site if it is not cleaned on a regular basis. Please consult your instruction manual for maintenance of your cover and liner.

Products such as washing detergent, moisturiser, deodorant, make-up, sun lotion or fake tan can cause discolouration. We would suggest using washing up liquid, stain remover or miracle pads to remove stains or marks.

We would not advise that the spa is left in direct sunlight. We would suggest setting the spa up in a shaded spot or using a gazebo or canopy to help protect the spa.

We also suggest that the spa is dip tested with the Clearwater test strips daily to check chemical levels.

Mould can occur if the spa is not completely dry when put away or if water becomes trapped between the liner and the cover. The humidity from the spa in conjunction with the trapped water can cause mould to grow and for the water to be stagnant.

By keeping the water treated with the correct chemical levels and maintaining the spa you should avoid issues such as this. However should the issue arise we would advise to use a solution of water and washing up liquid to remove the mould. If the mould is inside the liner we would suggest spraying some mould spray through the inflation valve and then inflating and deflating the spa several times. This will reduce the mould but may not get rid of the marks completely.

When you are inflating the spa some water may collate in the internal part of the liner. If you have inflated the spa in warm weather or during high humidity the amount of water residue that may get caught in the liner will increase.

We recommend leaving the spa in a warm place to dry thoroughly or to inflate and deflate the spa multiple times. When inflating and deflating the liner, the condensation that’s trapped inside will start to dry as you are pushing air round. Whilst deflated we would advise to use some mould spray to reduce the chances of any staining occurring on the internal parts of the liner.
