Both Steel Pro and Steel Pro MAX are part of our expansive range of steel-framed pools. Designed for convenience and built-to last, these pools will last you many summers.
Step 1: Get the ground ready for your Bestway Steel Pro pool
Choose a flat area or the garden, and if you're going on a patio or decking, make sure that it can support the weight of a filled pool.
Make sure the surface is level, as uneven ground will have the water pressing up against one side of the pool. This could eventually lead to all kinds of trouble.
Remove any sharp objects like stones or branches that might puncture the liner. Once the area is prepped, you're ready to begin assembly.
Step 2: Check your Bestway Steel Pro or Steel Pro MAX items
Before getting started on assembling your Bestway steel frame pool, its a good idea to check you have all the right parts and you are not missing anything.
- Check all items against the components list in the manual to ensure everything is included.
- Unfold and lay out the pool liner, positioning the filter pump connections (labelled A and B) near the outlet.
- Lay out all parts of the steel frame.
- Insert caps into the inlet and outlet valves (or close the connection valves, if provided) to prevent leaks during filling.
Step 3: Assemble your Bestway Steel Pro Pool
Installing a Bestway steel framed pool takes an avergare of 20 minutes, depending on the size of the pool. Follow these steps:
- Spread the liner out facing upwards, on your chosen area. Ensure the drain valve cap is securely fitted, and the caps are inserted into the inlet and outlet valves.
- Assemble the upper frame by inserting the horizontal bars into the slots along the top of the pool liner. Connect the horizontal bars with the T-shaped connectors. Secure the connections by inserting pins with gaskets into the holes.
- Attach the plastic feet to the vertical supports. Slide the supports behind the liner’s wall strip and slot them into the T-shaped connectors. Ensure the supports are securely in place.
Step 4: Start to fill up your steel frame pool with water
- First, only add a few inches of water to the pool.
- Step into the pool and smooth out any wrinkles in the liner, working from the centre outwards.
- Once the liner is smooth and secure, continue filling the pool to the desired level.
